Positive Thinking For a Better Life

 

Be sure to take advantage of positive attitude tips. If you don't believe your attitude is everything then think about this: Where you are today and where you will be tomorrow is a direct result of your attitude.



Positive Attitude Tips For A Happier Life



  • Quit watching world events or the local news first thing in the morning. Most of the stories and information are negative. You want to start your day on a more positive note.

 

  • Use the power of positive affirmations, positive sayings, and positive quotes to inspire and reinforce positive thinking.

 

  • Laugh until your stomach hurts. There is no better medicine than a good old fashion belly laugh. Plan an evening with a comedy movie or go see a Comedian. Your body will release endorphins and you will relieve stress. (This is one of my all time favorite positive attitude tips. )

 

  • Get enough rest. Lack of sleep is a culprit for crankiness, irritability, and tiredness. When you get enough sleep you feel more refreshed and are better equipped to deal with whatever happens in your day.

 

  • Buy a dart board and a picture of the object of worry, frustration, and pain. Watch how quickly and accurate you become at hitting the bull's eye. This is a great way to relieve stress as well. Who knows, you may develop a new hobby.

 

  • Listen to children's laughter. You can't help but boost positive thinking from that beautiful sound. Gleeful children are a joy to listen to, as well as be around. It'll make you smile.

 

  • Listen to birds chirping. It's one of the most cheerful sounds there is. The sound also serves as a reminder that God has blessed us with a new day filled with new opportunities.

 

  • Give someone the gift of your smile. I guarantee you make somebody's day. This is a lovely way to make a positive difference for someone else.

  • View life from the standpoint of what you have instead of what you do not have.

 

  • See problems as challenges instead of threats.

 

  • Feel challenged and excited about the future.

 

  • Openly embrace change.

 

  • Believe your actions will make a difference.

 

  • Pay attention to positive things happening in your life.

 

  • Spend time talking about good things that are happening.

 

  • Perform a small kind act for someone. You'll make someone else's day.

 

  • Do something fun.

 

  • Surround yourself with cheerful people.

 

  • Tell the people you love that you love them.

 

  • Remember, you will never look worse than the picture on your driver's license.

 


  • Start saying "good morning" to others.

  • Read a Bible passage each morning.

  • Add more of your favorite color to your wardrobe.

  • Listen to your favorite song first thing in the morning.

  • Hug someone you love and let them know what they mean to you.

  • Treat yourself to your favorite breakfast food to start you day on a more positive note.
